The Pages panel provides the ability to manage all the pages in your site. With this panel, Pages can be edited, deleted, and viewed. Filtering and searching also makes it easy to quickly find Pages.
Several powerful features allow Pages to be edited in bulk (en masse), allowing fields such as Author, Parent, Template, and Status to be changed for a whole batch of Pages. In addition, a Quick Edit feature provides an easy way to change a multitude of values, such as Title, Slug, Date, and Author, for a given Page.
Edit Pages
Table of Pages
This table lists all of your Pages, by row. The Pages are listed with the newest Page first.
The table of Pages contains the following columns:
- [ ] — This checkbox, when clicked (checked), “selects” that particular Page to be processed by a Bulk Action.
- Title — This is the Page’s Title, displayed as a link. Click the Title link to allow this Page to be edited in the Pages–>Edit subpanel. Next to the Title, if a Page is of a Draft, Pending, or Password Protected status, text will display indicating that.
- Author — Displayed in the form of a link, this is the author who wrote the Page. Clicking the author link causes all the Pages authored by that user to be displayed in the Table of Pages (thus allowing a Bulk Action to be applied to all Pages for a given author).
- Date — The Date column for each Page shows the date published for “published” Pages, or when the Page was last modified for other Pages.
Screen Options
The Screen Options allow you to choose which columns are displayed, or not displayed, in the underlying Table. Clicking on the Screen Options tab shows a list of the columns with a checkbox next to each column. Check the box for each column you want displayed in the Table, or uncheck the box to not display that column. Click the Screen Options tab again to close the Screen Options.
Search
Above the Table, to the right, is a search box where you can enter a word, or series of words, and click the “Search Pages” button to search and display all the Pages matching your search words.
Filtering Options
At the top of this subpanel are links such as All, Published, Pending Review, Draft, and Private, that when clicked, will cause just the Pages of that type to be displayed in the underlying Table.
Using Selection, Actions, and Apply
Selection
For Bulk Actions to be performed on multiple Pages at once, those Pages must be first selected via one of these methods:
- Select one Page at a time – To select a Page, the checkbox to the left of the Page entry must be checked (clicked). It is possible to keep selecting more Pages by checking their respective checkboxes.
- Select all Pages in given Table – All Pages in a given table can be selected by checking the checkbox in the Table’s header or footer bar. Of course, unchecking the header or footer title bar checkbox will cause all entries in that Table to be unchecked (NOT selected).
- Reverse Selection – A Reverse Selection means checked items become unchecked, and unchecked items become checked. A Reverse Selection is accomplished by holding the Shift key on the keyboard and clicking the header or footer title bar checkbox.
Actions
Actions describe the process to be performed on particular Pages. The following describes these Actions:
Immediate Actions – Immediate Actions are performed immediately on a single Page. Hovering the mouse cursor over the Page row reveals the “Edit”, “Delete”, “Quick Edit”, and “View” options in the Title column.

The available Actions are described below:
- Edit — This Action can be either an “Immediate Action” or a “Bulk Action”. The Immediate Action, initiated by clicking on the Title or clicking on the “Edit” option just below the Title, takes you to the Edit Pages screen. Edit is also available as a Bulk Action for the selected Pages, so see the Bulk Edit section for details on the Bulk Editing process.
- Quick Edit — Quick Edit is an “Immediate Action” that allows a quick inline edit of certain fields related to a Page. See the Quick Edit section for details on this Action.
- Delete Permanently — This Action deletes the Page(s). Delete is available both as a Bulk Action, and an Immediate Action.
- View — This Action presents the Page as it appears in a single Page view on your site. View is available only as an Immediate Action.
Quick Edit
Quick Edit is an Immediate Action performed on a single Page by clicking the Quick Edit link under the Page’s title in the Table of Pages. Quick Edit is simply an inline edit that allows you to change some Page fields.
Apply
After one or more Pages are selected, the Apply button completes the given Action on the selected Pages. Remember, prior to executing Actions, one or more Pages must be selected, as described before.
Visual Editor
The visual editor is designed for you to see what your page will look like as it is being created. It makes developing a page simple. Create, edit, and format the page just as you would in a word processor. The visual editor is set to default mode for WibWabWeb users. If for some reason it is not active then get to it by clicking the Visual tab on the top right of the editor box.

Publish
The Publish box is a key element to the work being created. Previewing, saving and publishing the current page is done here. It holds options on how to show the status of your page, the visibility of your page, and even set a time when the pages should be published. The next section will guide you through how to use the options in the publishing box.

Before publishing a page the publish box will look as shown above.
Save Draft
This is how you save a page with out publishing it the internet. This should be done often to save updates made to the page. Save Draft button saves the content of the page.
Preview
Preview brings the current page up in a new window for viewing. This allows you to see what the page will look like before making it live to the internet.
Publish
By clicking the Publish button this will make your page live and visible to the internet. Make sure the page looks the way you want others to view it before it is published.
Delete
The Delete button will remove all content on the page currently shown. Only do this if the page is not a part of your site. Once deleted you can’t get the page back. Again, only Delete the page if you know for sure that you will not be using the page.
Once the page is published the publishing box will look like the following image.

Update Page
Update page is used when changes have been made to an already existing page. Update Page replaces the Publishing Page button. Note: Be sure to preview the new content by using the Preview button. Make sure the look is the way you want it before updating the page. Once it is satisfying to your needs then click Update Page.

This shows the state of the page

- Published the page has been published to the internet for everyone to see.
- Scheduled the page’s timestamp is set to publish to the date you set.
- Pending Review this is if the page was made by someone other than the Editor or Administrator. The Editor or Administrator must be the ones to the publish this type of page.
- Draft this is an unpublished page. The draft will not be viewable to the public until it is published.

- Public is viewable to everyone.
- Password Protected allows a password to be set for users to access the page. Only viewers with a password can view that page.
- Private pages set to private can only be seen by Editors and Administrators. A page can be set to Private without having to have a password.
The following image shows what a password protected page will look like.

Attributes
In this box is for adjusting attributes pertaining the page you are working on.

- Parent arranging the pages in a hierarchies. For example, there is an “About” page that has”Life Story” and “My Dog” pages under it. Under “My Dog” there could be another page titled “Spot.” There are no limits to how many pages you have nested with in a page.
- Template we recommend leaving this as Default Template.
- Order automatically the pages will list in alphabetical order. The pages can be changed using this function. You have three pages: About, Life Story, My Dog. If you would want My Dogto appear first this is what you would do:
- Click Pages > Edit on the menu
- Find My Dog and click title.
- Find Attributes box.
- Put a number 1 in the order box. This tells WibWabWeb to make this page first in the list.
- Click the Update Page button.
Repeat this process to move your pages where you want them. In the Order box use higher numbers than 1. This tells WibWabWeb to make them the 2nd or 3rd item in the list etc.
Exclude pages

If you want your page displayed as a navigation link, usually shown on every page, then check the box next to Include this page in navigation menus. If the page you are using is a sub-category in a page then don’t check this box. Unless you want in displayed in the navigation.
