How to Create a Link

Creating links is simple in WibWabWeb.  Follow these simple steps.

Text Link

1. Highlight the text you want to be a link.
2. Click the Link icon in the tool bar
   
3. This window will appear.
   
4. URL put the url of the site you want to link to here.
   Title what the hover will read.
   Or link to existing content shows a list of pages in your site.  If you are looking to link to a page with in your site, simply choose it from the list of pages.  WibWabWeb will automatically add the link into the URL.
   Search allows you to search through multiple pages for a quick find.
5. Click Add Link to make the link.
6. To deactivate the link click on the Broken link icon.

The steps bellow are to create a link on an image that will open a larger version of that image in a new window

1. Click Add media icon.
   
2. Click Media Library Tab
   
3. Click Show in the box with the image being linked.
4. Fill in the Link URL Fields
   None use if no link is needed.
   File URL opens the original file.
   Post URL opens file in a website based page.
5. Click Insert Into Post.
6. Photo is now linked to the URL chosen.

Link to an Image URL

Insert a link using the image URL stored somewhere else on the Internet, follow these simple steps.

1. Click Add media icon.
   
2. Click From URL tab
   
3. Fill out the fields.
   
   Image URL type the URL of the image file into the text box.
   Image Title name of the hover.
   Image Caption a small description of the image.
   Alignment placement on the page.
   Link Image To links the image to the original file by clicking Link to Image button.  Leave blank if image has no link.
4. Click Insert into Post when fields are completed.
